About the role:

This role at Treebo involves crucial role in creating compelling visual stories. This role involves

editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and graphics, and ensuring the final product

aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines, while ensuring consistent brand

communication across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

● Take a brief to grasp team’s needs and specifications

● Performing the full range of editing works from splicing, to sound balancing, to color

correction and color grading.

● Review the script to better understand the video production requirements

● Editing raw footage content and cutting video sequences to ensure that concepts are

translated effectively

● Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film

● Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects

● Create rough and final cuts

● Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process

● Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best

practices to maximize efficiency.

What are we looking for:

● Proven work experience as a Video Editor (2-3 years)

● Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media

Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)

● Carry out online editing and finalizing technical aspects such as correcting faulty footage,

grading and coloring and adding special effects.

● Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

● Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity

● Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing

● Creative mind and storytelling skills

● Degree in film studies, cinematography or related field description
