Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of software testing internship experience and must have completed a Software Testing or QA course. Candidates who have knowledge of automation testing or AI-based testing tools will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and work with developers to get them resolved.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Perform basic database testing using SQL queries.
- Maintain test cases, test documentation, and testing reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Learn and contribute to test automation activities.
- Explore AI-based testing tools and AI-assisted testing techniques.
- Work with the development and QA teams to improve overall product quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 months of software testing internship experience.
- Must have completed a Software Testing / QA course.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
- Good knowledge of manual testing and test case preparation.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestLink, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or JMeter will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.
Candidates with knowledge or hands-on experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other automation tools.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks.
- Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- API automation.
- Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- AI testing tools and AI-assisted QA techniques.
- Testing AI-based applications, chatbots, or LLM-based applications.
- Using AI tools for test case generation, test analysis, defect identification, or test automation.
- Candidates with 6 months or more of software testing internship experience.
- Candidates who have completed a Software Testing or QA course.
- Candidates with good knowledge of manual testing and basic automation testing.
- Candidates who are interested in building their career in software testing, automation testing, API testing, and AI testing.
