Postdoctoral Fellow – Structural Health Monitoring using Piezoelectric Sensors

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy PZT-based sensing systems for damage detection and structural health monitoring.
Conduct experimental investigations on structural components.
Develop signal processing, data analysis and intelligent damage-detection techniques.
Work on interdisciplinary research integrating sensors, electronics, materials and structural engineering.
Publish research findings in high-quality journals/conferences and contribute to collaborative research proposals.

Eligibility & Preferred Background

PhD in Sensors, Structural Health Monitoring, Smart Structures, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or closely related areas.
Candidates with strong expertise in piezoelectric sensors, sensor networks, signal processing, EMI techniques, vibration-based monitoring or damage detection are preferred.
Experience in experimental research and data analysis will be an advantage.
