Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Java Developer role based in Bengaluru. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications that power Huzzl.ai’s AI-driven hiring workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features using Java and Spring, building and optimizing microservices, integrating APIs, and ensuring system performance, scalability, and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, data and AI engineers, and QA specialists to deliver well-tested, secure, and maintainable code. The Java Developer will also participate in code reviews, refine technical designs, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tooling.
Qualifications

Strong Software Development skills with experience in designing and implementing robust backend systems.
Proficiency in Java and core Programming concepts, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building enterprise applications.
Practical experience in Microservices architecture, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and observability.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices is highly beneficial.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in AI-driven products, recruitment tech, or scalable SaaS platforms is a plus.
