Motion Designer

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in Motion Design.

Location: Andheri West, Mumbai.

Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, on-site.

Relocation: Candidates willing to relocate can be considered; preference for candidates already based in Mumbai.

Requirements

Agency Experience
Preferably from a marketing, advertising, creative, or digital agency environment.

Client-Facing Experience
Should have experience working on client-facing projects/campaigns and translating briefs into creative outputs.

Short-Form Content
Strong understanding and hands-on experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first content.

Motion Design
Should be comfortable with animation, motion graphics, transitions, typography, pacing, visual storytelling, and editing.

Adobe Creative Suite
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The original JD specifically calls for expert knowledge of these tools.

AI & GenAI
Should be familiar with AI and generative AI tools and understand how to apply them across creative, content, ideation, editing, and animation workflows.

Portfolio/Showreel
A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing social content, motion graphics, brand campaigns, video content, and digital storytelling is important.

Project Ownership
Look for someone who can independently manage projects from brief/concept through final delivery while collaborating with creative and cross-functional teams.

Good to Have
Exposure to 3D tools such as Blender/Cinema 4D, integrated campaigns, sound design, colour grading, or VFX.
