We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead the delivery of strategic Capital Markets and Banking technology initiatives. The role will be responsible for end-to-end program governance, planning, stakeholder management, risk management, financial oversight, and successful delivery across multiple workstreams and Agile teams.
The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure delivery of complex transformation programs involving trading platforms, data modernization, cloud transformation, integration, reporting, and regulatory initiatives. The individual must be capable of managing large-scale programs using both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
Key Responsibilities
Program Governance & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation programs across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
- Establish governance frameworks, steering committees, and executive review mechanisms.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology delivery, and program outcomes.
- Engage with senior business stakeholders, product owners, technology leaders, and vendors.
- Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and program updates.
- Drive decision making and issue resolution through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Manage program budgets, forecasting, utilization, and financial tracking.
- Oversee resource planning and capacity management across multiple teams.
- Ensure effective allocation of resources to meet program objectives.
- Own RAID logs and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
- Escalate critical issues and define mitigation strategies.
- Ensure cross-workstream alignment to avoid program delays.
- Guide Scrum Masters and delivery teams on Agile best practices.
- Monitor sprint performance, velocity, delivery metrics, and release planning.
- Drive continuous improvement across teams and delivery processes.
- Coordinate with implementation partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Track deliverables, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
- Lead technology modernization, cloud migration, data transformation, and platform upgrade initiatives.
- Support organizational change management and adoption activities.
- 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in Project/Program Management.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and traditional project management methodologies.
- Expertise in program governance, portfolio management, and executive communication.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud technologies, data platforms, and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
