Product Manager

Bytebeam builds the hardware and software that power the next generation of smart connected vehicles. We do device telemetry, remote diagnostics, OTA updates, alerts, and fleet-scale device management. We help teams ship connected products faster and run them reliably in the field. We are now building an AI-native platform for Indian commercial fleets. We are building it to be several times better than anything in the market, not a little better.

We are hiring a Product Manager to own products end to end and grow the platform into new categories and new geographies. You are the first point of contact for an idea: you turn it into a sharp product, ship it, and prove it moved the user's outcome.

This is a hands-on, AI-first role, and your edge is discovery. In the AI era building is cheap, so finding the right problem is the job. You live in the field, find the real problem, and own it until it is solved and measured, working with engineering, design, data, sales, and support to get there.

• Own products end to end: Shape a rough idea into a sharp PRD, prioritize hard, ship it, and measure the outcome. Always separate the real need from what people ask for.
• Live in the field: Sit with fleet owners, drivers, and operators where they work, run a customer advisory board, and find the real problem, not the surface one.
• Grow into new markets: Take the product into new customer categories and new geographies, and go get the operators no one serves well today.
• Aim for the multiple: Study the competition, know where we are ahead and behind, and push every feature to be 5x-10x better, not a little better.
• Set the metric and the guardrail: Give every feature a success metric that proves the promise, and a guardrail for what breaks if it works too well.
• Work AI-first: Use AI across the whole job (discovery, research, prototyping, PRDs, analysis) to move fast and go deep. Push it hard.

• 3+ years in product management, ideally B2B software, fleet, logistics, IoT, telematics, automotive, or operations-heavy products.
• You have owned a product end to end and moved a real metric, from discovery through launch to adoption and revenue.
• You are excellent at discovery: you find the real problem, tell a need from a want and a root cause from a symptom, and move on the best truth available instead of waiting for perfect data.
• High ownership: You do whatever it takes to reach the outcome, vendor and supplier coordination included, and "that's not my job" is not in your vocabulary.
• AI-first: You already use AI tools every day and push them hard. You don't shy away from learning new methods and tools to leverage AI better.
• A people person who gets the unsaid truth out of a fleet owner, and willing to travel and sit in hard places. If a problem lives in a mine, that is where you will be.

• Real products, used in production by teams running connected vehicles and fleets.
• High ownership in a small team: fewer layers, faster decisions, and close contact with customers. You own your product and run it.
• Work that spans software, hardware, field operations, fleet economics, and reliability.
