Education Qualification:

* BE – Mechanical / Mechatronics/ Electrical / Electronics/ Automotive / Production

* PG – VLFM / MBA / ME or M.Tech or M.S etc in above said fields

PG in business management, PRJ management or automotive Engg

Automotive product development process

Passion for riding 2W

Required Experience:

* BE – 15 Yr +

* PG – 12 Yr +

Minimum experience in NPD 7 to 10 years

Purpose of the Role :

Continuously understand customers, markets, competition in respective geographies to develop products in the relevant product segments towards business growth and profitability & Lay down customer facing product requirement.

Managing the life cycle of the products through Long term product planning

Deliver New Product achieving Q,C,D targets for the customer segments

Deliver Upgrades, Variants and Refreshes to enhance customer delight and hence improve market share & profitability.

Role Description1. Responsible for Business objectives (customer delight, New product volume and profitability) in the respective segment

2.Deliver hit products - new products upgrades refresh meeting volume and profitability targets

3. Monitor the industry trends in the respective markets with respect to technology and regulation

4. Understand the customer needs , life style trends including latent needs of the customers

5. Continuous tracking of competitor products and forecast the future competition

6. Creation of rolling product plan by thorough understanding of customers, industry , competition and technology ladder.

7. Drive & implement ENGG changes which are agreed with stakeholders

8. Improve product competitiveness through points mentioned in #3 - 5

9. Resolve bottlenecks / Risks in product delivery (in terms of QCD) & achieve production ramp up

10. Review projects periodically & help team to achieve QCD targets
