The Technical Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing IoT solutions in brownfield situations, focusing on electrical switchgears and other assets. The individual will collaborate with customers to identify requirements, develop innovative architectures, optimize existing infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration of IoT devices within the electrical ecosystem.

What Are My Responsibilities

Develop best practices for retrofitting and integrating IoT technologies into existing electrical infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and hardware engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding electrical safety and data privacy.
Provide pre-sales support by creating technical proposals, conducting presentations, and participating in client meetings.
Continuously research emerging trends in IoT and electrical systems to stay ahead of technological advancements and improve architectural designs.
Design detailed solution documentation, including diagrams and specifications, to guide implementation efforts.
Lead proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
Evaluate third-party products and services to determine their potential value in enhancing IoT architectures.
Assist in defining project scopes, timelines, and budgets while minimizing risks and ensuring timely delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert in client interactions, providing insight into industry best practices and potential improvements.

What Do I Need To Qualify For This Job

Bachelor's degree in engineering, instrumentation, electronics, computer or a related field.
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, particularly in IoT and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, including switchgears, transformers, and sensors.
Knowledge in creating and deploying solution architectures.
Proficient in IoT communication protocols, data security, and cloud connectivity.
Good communication and presentation skills in different languages.
