About The Role
We are looking for an experienced VMware Technology Automation & Scripting – L3 professional with strong expertise in VMware infrastructure automation, scripting, orchestration, and troubleshooting.
The role requires hands-on experience in developing automation solutions for complex VMware environments using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, APIs, and VMware automation technologies.
Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced automation solutions for VMware environments.
- Develop scripts using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, and other relevant scripting technologies.
- Automate provisioning and management of Virtual Machines, Clusters, Networks, Storage, and other VMware infrastructure components.
- Develop reusable scripts and workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Automate routine VMware administration, monitoring, reporting, and infrastructure management activities.
- Troubleshoot complex VMware infrastructure issues using scripting and automation techniques.
- Develop diagnostic scripts to support faster incident identification and resolution.
- Integrate VMware platforms with third-party tools and systems using APIs and automation frameworks.
- Create and maintain automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Identify opportunities for further automation and process optimization across VMware environments.
- Follow best practices for scripting, version control, documentation, security, and code management.
- Maintain technical documentation, automation scripts, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Provide L3-level technical support and assist teams in resolving complex automation and VMware-related issues.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware technologies and virtualization environments.
- Advanced scripting experience with PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI.
- Working knowledge of Python for infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of VMware infrastructure including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Virtual Machines, Clusters, Networking, and Storage.
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience developing reusable automation scripts and workflows.
- Understanding of automation best practices, code management, and documentation.
- Ability to work in a 24×7 enterprise production environment.
- Any Graduate.
- Relevant technical qualification in IT / Computer Science will be preferred.
VCAP / VCP-CMA Certification Preferred.
