Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and result-oriented Social Media Manager with a strong focus on YouTube to manage and grow our digital presence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in YouTube content strategy, audience growth, SEO, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
Develop and execute YouTube-focused content strategies and content calendars.
Plan video topics based on trends, audience interests, and keyword research.
Coordinate with Content Writers, Video Editors, Graphic Designers and Faculty for content creation.
Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and keywords.
Monitor YouTube Analytics, CTR, watch time, retention and engagement.
Plan and manage YouTube Shorts, Live Sessions and Community Posts.
Create engaging captions, posts and promotional content for social media.
Track competitors, trends and emerging content opportunities.
Prepare regular social media and YouTube performance reports.
Develop strategies to increase reach, engagement, subscribers and overall audience growth.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Social Media Management / YouTube Management.
Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and YouTube Analytics.
Good knowledge of Content Planning & Social Media Strategy.
Strong understanding of audience engagement and growth.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in Education/EdTech or Defence-related content will be an added advantage.
