Software Engineer - FullStack

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale, cloud-native applications supporting Digital Products and Everyday Banking platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across Node.js-based backend development and modern frontend technologies, with expertise in either React.js or Angular. You will work on scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using modern engineering practices, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies.

The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and practical experience working with distributed systems, scalability, resilience, observability, automation, and modern software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js and modern frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular.
• Develop scalable and resilient backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Build responsive, high-performance frontend applications using React.js or Angular.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures for enterprise-scale applications.
• Develop event-driven services and asynchronous processing solutions using Kafka.
• Design and optimize data models, queries, indexes, and aggregations using MongoDB.
• Implement Redis for caching, session management, distributed locking, and performance optimization.
• Build reliable and secure APIs and services capable of operating in distributed environments.
• Apply modern software architecture patterns to improve scalability, resilience, availability, and maintainability.
• Work with cloud platforms and containerized/serverless deployment models.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Platform, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
• Drive automation across development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and system performance across distributed environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, coding best practices, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve production issues while maintaining application reliability and platform stability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, automation, and delivery processes.

Core Technical Requirements

Candidates should have strong Full Stack development experience with hands-on production experience in cloud-native applications.

Strong expertise in Node.js and at least one of the following frontend technologies is required:

• Strong understanding of scalability, resilience, observability, and performance optimization.
