About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Cloud Operations Intern to join our team in Coimbatore. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a focus on cloud operations, automation, observability, security, access management, and governance.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of cloud computing and a strong interest in learning cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud security practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Assist with basic automation tasks using scripts (Python/Bash) or IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Participate in setting up and monitoring CI/CD pipelines.
- Support cloud service maintenance and day-to-day operational activities.
- Support the monitoring and management of compute services and cloud resources.
- Support observability tracking, including monitoring, logging, alerts, and resource health.
- Support incident response by triaging alerts, logging issues, and escalating as needed.
- Help track and report on cloud resource usage and cost optimization opportunities.
- Help maintain and update documentation for infrastructure, runbooks, and SOPs.
- Review basic security compliance checks, including IAM policies and access reviews.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Cloud certification (AWS/GCP).
- Exposure to monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- B.E./B.Tech graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant cloud projects or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- Cloud certification is an added advantage.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
- Practical experience in cloud operations and infrastructure maintenance.
- Exposure to observability, monitoring, and incident response.
