Marine Sales and Supply Executive

Shipping or marine purchasing experience required | Sailing experience preferred | Candidates based in Navi Mumbai are preferred

We are hiring a Sales and Supply Executive to manage enquiries and orders for marine lubricants, chemicals, and coatings supplied to vessels at Indian and international ports. 

This role is for someone who understands vessel purchasing and can take an enquiry from quotation through delivery and invoicing. You must have purchasing or procurement experience in the shipping or marine industry, whether with a shipowner, ship manager, ship chandler, or marine supplier. Sailing experience is a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
• Source products, compare supplier offers, and analyse pricing and margins.
• Follow up with customers and convert quotations into orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to meet vessel schedules.
• Confirm delivery, check documentation, issue invoices, and maintain records.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of shipping or marine industry experience, including purchasing or procurement responsibilities.
• A good understanding of vessel supply processes.
• Strong Excel, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage several orders independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent vessel requirements outside regular working hours and on weekends when needed.

Experience with marine lubricants, chemicals, coatings, spares, or provisions is preferred. Familiarity with Zoho or a similar system is an advantage.
