IDQ IICS Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Informatica PowerCenter / IICS Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting complex ETL workflows, data integration processes, and data quality solutions. The role will also involve migration and modernization of legacy ETL processes to the IDMC platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop and maintain data integration workflows to support business and data requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity through effective data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Design and implement Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) processes for data profiling, cleansing, validation, standardization, and quality monitoring.
• Monitor data pipelines and ETL workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Participate in the migration and modernization of legacy ETL processes from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica IDMC.
• Support data migration initiatives involving IDMC and IDQ tools and frameworks.
• Document technical specifications, data flows, ETL mappings, IDQ processes, and process workflows for maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and data quality issues promptly.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in data integration, data quality, PowerCenter, IICS, and IDQ technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of complex ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop and maintain IDQ mappings, rules, processes, and workflows to improve data quality.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing ETL workflows.
• Conduct code and workflow reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, validation, and quality analysis using Informatica IDQ.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and data quality issues.
• Support the migration of ETL and data quality processes to the Informatica IDMC platform.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on ETL, data integration, and data quality processes.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to data integration and data quality best practices.
