Role Overview

The QA Automation Engineer key role is to focus on building scalable automation frameworks, reducing manual testing efforts, and improving overall testing efficiency. The engineer collaborates closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios suitable for automation, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks
• Leverage AI QA Tools and Copilots for rapid Test case development, validation and maintenance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with developers and other QA teams to ensure quality standards
• Analyse test results, log defects, and track them to resolution
• Ensure automation best practices, coding standards, and test reliability
• Continuously improve test coverage and execution performance

What skills required?

• Good knowledge in Manual testing or applications, especially in insurance domain
• Ability to write test automation scripts
• Strong automation experience in Selenium and Playwright
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Insomnia, JMeter and the like.
• Experience using AI-based testing tools for test generation, test optimization, or defect prediction
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work on multiple projects, conflicting priorities, and tight timelines.
