Lead price negotiations, contract finalization, and long-term vendor agreements. Approve purchase orders (POs), verify invoices, and monitor payment cycles. Ensure optimal inventory levels by coordinating closely with warehouse and store departments.
Resolve vendor issues, delivery delays, or discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts, Logistics, Projects, Store, etc.) to ensure seamless operations. Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost-control measures.
Review market trends, pricing shifts, and supplier performance for strategic decision-making. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, vendor evaluations, and risks. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). 4-8 years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in government supply or project-based industries.
Strong knowledge of vendor management, procurement processes, and compliance norms. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and experience with ERP software. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to handle high-value purchases, multitask, and manage time-sensitive procurements.
