Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and priorities for assigned capabilities and workstreams.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance to understand needs and identify opportunities.
- Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements and prioritized backlog items.
- Lead discovery efforts to validate assumptions, understand pain points, and identify high-value opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to define solutions that are valuable, feasible, and sustainable.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product strategy and platform objectives.
- Establish success measures and use data, customer feedback, and operational insights to guide decisions.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and release planning activities.
- Drive alignment across multiple teams working toward shared business outcomes.
- Communicate product direction, progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, program leadership, or a related discipline.
- Experience defining requirements and working with Agile delivery teams.
- Experience managing priorities across multiple stakeholders and competing objectives.
- Experience translating business problems into actionable solutions.
- Experience leading product initiatives involving enterprise platforms, digital applications, or customer-facing capabilities.
- Strong understanding of product discovery, product strategy, and roadmap development.
- Ability to break complex business processes into manageable product capabilities and iterative delivery plans.
- Experience working closely with software engineering, architecture, and UX teams.
- Knowledge of Agile product management techniques, backlog management, and story refinement.
- Experience using metrics, customer feedback, and operational data to guide prioritization and decision making.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience navigating large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with banking, payments, commercial card, treasury, financial services, or regulated industries is beneficial but not required.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preference to have BFS exp
