Position Summary
This role supports Deloitte Tax LLP U.S. service offerings by providing Level 3 support for the Business Central platform used across multiple countries. The Senior, Tax Services professional will help maintain platform stability, resolve complex incidents, and support system changes that enable consistent finance and operational processes. This role works closely with global stakeholders, including the Spain-based core team, in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Services on the USI Tax team, you will be responsible for:
- Serve as the Level 3 escalation point for complex functional and technical incidents affecting Dynamics 365 Business Central across a global environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across finance processes, operational workflows, integrations, and interfaces.
- Perform root cause analysis, execute data and configuration corrections, and implement fixes that improve platform stability and service continuity.
- Support deployment of Microsoft updates, localization and regulatory changes, enhancements, and defect fixes in coordination with global teams.
- Maintain documentation for incidents, resolutions, known issues, and workarounds, and provide structured handoffs to the Spain-based core team.
USI Tax supports Deloitte Tax LLP teams through integrated tax, accounting, and technology-enabled services. Professionals across the team collaborate with stakeholders in multiple geographies to support reporting, compliance, and business process execution. This role is part of a team that helps sustain and improve a global Business Central platform through technical support, standardized processes, and cross-border collaboration.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise application support, or ERP support
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a production environment
- Experience with AL development, debugging, extensions, and customization
- Experience troubleshooting finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or fixed assets
- Experience supporting integrations, application programming interfaces, or external system interfaces
- Experience working in a multinational, multi-country, or multi-tenant environment
- Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing defect fixes
- Experience supporting Microsoft updates, patches, or platform enhancements
- Experience supporting localization or regulatory changes in an ERP environment
- Experience documenting incidents, resolutions, and known workarounds
- Experience supporting shared services or global delivery teams
- Experience supporting non-finance business processes in an ERP platform
