Role Overview

We’re looking for a Communications Executive who understands what makes audiences stop scrolling, click, engage, and come back for more. This role will focus on building content, communication, and digital presence while contributing to overall brand and business growth.

The ideal candidate should be curious about what audiences are searching for, what they are talking about online, what content is trending, and how we can turn those insights into engaging content that drives reach, engagement, community growth, and ultimately leads/enquiries.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute social media and communication strategies across relevant platforms.
  • Create and manage engaging content across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, and other relevant digital communities.
  • Research audience interests, industry trends, relevant topics, and online conversations to identify content opportunities.
  • Identify trending topics, formats, conversations, memes, and discussions that can be converted into relevant content.
  • Turn complex or informational topics into simple, engaging, and shareable content.
  • Work on YouTube SEO, including titles, descriptions, keywords, tags, thumbnails, and overall content optimisation.
  • Use tools such as vidIQ and other content research tools to identify search and content opportunities.
  • Create clean and engaging creatives using Canva.
  • Use AI tools to develop content ideas, hooks, scripts, thumbnails, creatives, captions, and content variations.
  • Write strong hooks, captions, posts, and communication pieces that encourage audiences to click, watch, engage, and share.
  • Build and actively engage relevant online communities, particularly on Reddit and other audience-focused platforms.
  • Monitor content performance and identify what is working, what isn’t, and what should be improved or tested next.
  • Track key content and growth metrics such as reach, engagement, views, watch time, CTR, follower/subscriber growth, and leads/enquiries.
  • Work closely with academic, content, design, video, marketing, and counselling teams to execute content and growth initiatives.
  • Support the team in developing campaigns around products, admissions, examinations, career opportunities, and relevant audience-focused topics.
  • Contribute to overall growth by identifying new content channels, audience segments, partnerships, and communication opportunities.
  • Continuously experiment with new content formats, platforms, trends, and communication styles.

What We’re Looking For

  • Understand social media beyond simply using it.
  • Have a good understanding of YouTube SEO and content optimisation.
  • Can use tools such as vidIQ or similar platforms for keyword and content research.
  • Are comfortable creating creatives on Canva.
  • Know how to use AI tools for content creation, ideation, thumbnails, hooks, scripts, and research.
  • Have a strong sense of trends, audience behaviour, and content formats.
  • Enjoy researching relevant topics and understanding audience conversations.
  • Can write simple, engaging, and attention-grabbing content.
  • Understand basic content analytics and growth metrics.
  • Are comfortable working with multiple teams and taking ownership of execution.
  • Are curious, proactive, and willing to experiment.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduation in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in social media, content, communications, digital marketing, community management, or growth will be an advantage.
  • Candidates with experience in EdTech, education, student communities, or competitive-exam content will be preferred.
  • Freshers with strong content skills, social-media understanding, creativity, and a genuine interest in digital growth may also be considered.

The Kind of Person We Want

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything about the subject or industry.

We’re looking for someone who is curious enough to understand the audience quickly, research what matters to them, identify content opportunities, and turn those insights into content that people want to consume and share.
