Description
• Plan and execute works related to repair and dry-docking, including both routine repairs and major repairs.
• Monitor the vessel performance and PMS on the daily basis .
• Conduct vessel inspection for each ship under charge three times a year and follow up on issues identified.
• Prepare and monitor survey cycles, statutory survey requirements /repairs to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and control the purchase and delivery of spare parts and stores supplied to the vessels.
• Prepare the operating budgets for fleet manager/director review and monitor the actual budget spending vs the budget throughout the year.
• Escalate the issue in case the costs are expected to exceed the budget.
• Participate in pre-purchase/pre-takeover third party checking, as well as inspection and reports for the owners as per request
• Maintain highest maintenance of the assigned vessel as per ANGLO-EASTERN Standard
• Laise with owner respective department for their requirements.
• Any other specific task assigned by Line Manager .

Requirements
• To have Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency Motor and Steam
• Min 5 years experience as senior engineer on LNG Ships out of which min one years as Chief Engineer. Experience on both Motor and Steam LNG will be an added advantage
• Previous LNG related shore experience is desirable.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Good technical report and specification writing.
