Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain CentOS, Red Hat, and Ubuntu servers.
- Manage users, groups, permissions, filesystems, storage, and server configurations.
- Investigate and resolve operating system, service, resource, and connectivity issues.
- Execute system maintenance, upgrades, security updates, and server hardening activities.
- Support availability, recovery, backup coordination, operational monitoring, and technical documentation for Linux infrastructure.
Skills Required:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant Linux systems administration experience.
- Hands-on administration experience with CentOS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Ubuntu Linux.
- Strong understanding of Linux server operations, system configuration, permissions, storage, and filesystems.
- Experience supporting stable and scalable enterprise server environments.
- Ability to diagnose operating system and infrastructure issues and support maintenance and recovery activities.
Good to Have:
- Troubleshooting, networking, shell scripting, and patch management experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
