Site Reliability Engineer - SRE (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled and reliability-driven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to strengthen our engineering team. In this role, you will combine hands-on 2nd-level support experience with monitoring, automation, and reliability engineering. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and observability of a critical component of our reference data delivery chain.

Your tasks

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring dashboards
  • Improving alert quality and reducing noise through effective threshold and metric design
  • Analyzing logs, metrics, and system behavior to proactively detect anomalies
  • Automating operational processes using Ansible and scripting
  • Contributing to CI/CD and deployment reliability improvements
  • Continuously optimizing system reliability, availability, and operational efficiency
  • Providing 2nd-level support for production systems and critical business applications
  • Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and performance issues
  • Performing root cause analysis (RCA) and documenting findings in a structured manner
  • Collaborating with development teams on sustainable issue resolution and contributing to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or 2nd-level production support
  • Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack and Grafana for monitoring, logging, and observability
  • Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
  • Good hands-on experience with Git/GitLab and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and automation of operational processes
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
  • Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ownership skills in complex environments
  • Fluent English communication is required; immediate joiners and candidates currently serving their notice period are preferred
