Job Description

  • Technology Implementation:
  • Cordinate and lead for all existing and future Industry 4.0 Use cases under implementation or planned in future as per guidance from Head, Digitalisation and Automation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT, engineering, operations and other cross functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Data Management and Analytics:
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Utilize advanced analytics systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within operational processes and solve business problems.
  • Establish and maintain digital dashboards and reporting systems to track project performance and key metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including operations, QA, IT, and engineering teams, to align Industry 4.0 efforts with business needs.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners to ensure access to cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Leadership and Strategy:
  • Work with Head, Digitalization and Automation to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Industry 4.0 technology initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead the Industry 4.0 Use cases efforts within the operations team, focusing on integrating advanced technologies into existing processes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee and manage all current Industry 4.0 projects, including VR-based training, DPM, DWAT, IoT-based predictive maintenance.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor new Industry 4.0 projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all Industry 4.0 projects comply with regulatory requirements, such as USFDA, EU GMP, and ISO standards as per project/site requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Industry 4.0 projects, including validation protocols, user manuals, and training materials (if required)
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of Industry 4.0 systems.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in Industry 4.0 technologies to identify opportunities for future projects.
  • Review the recent updates from World Economic Forum, review their white paper and share the updates to reporting Manager as and when required.
  • Work with manager to prepare a roadmap for potential Lighthouse Manufacturing Unit in Amneal.
  • Provide training and support to operations teams on new Industry 4.0 tools and processes.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Idustry 4.0 projects within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, such as VR, IoT, AI, NLP, and blockchain.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise in Industry 4.0 tools, platforms, and technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Proactive and innovative approach, with a passion for driving digital transformation.
