Business Analyst – Q2C Rapid Delivery (AMER Shift)
Description
Salesforce's Quote to Cash (QTC) Innovation team is looking for a Business Analyst, Q2C Rapid Delivery to join our growing organization. This isn't a traditional documentation-and-handoff BA role — we're looking for someone who thinks like an analyst but builds like an engineer: someone who can turn a business problem into a working solution using AI tools, not just a requirements doc.
You'll work on enterprise-level projects that scale and streamline internal Quote-to-Cash processes and operations, and you'll collaborate closely with Business SMEs, Product, Architecture, and Engineering Teams. Beyond mapping requirements and handing them off, you'll be expected to prototype, automate, and stand up working tools yourself — using AI-assisted ("vibe coding") tools as your default way of working. We are seeking proactive, self-motivated builders who are comfortable navigating ambiguity, take initiative, and drive project outcomes with minimal oversight.
You'll be working closely with our US-based teams, with an approximate shift schedule of 5:00 PM IST to 2:00 AM IST, subject to change based on project needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep functional expertise across Q2C domain areas (e.g., CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management, or Order Management) over time, building the subject-matter depth needed to anticipate upstream/downstream impacts and guide solution design — not just execute against a defined spec.
- Partner with Functional Leads and Business SMEs to understand the future-state vision for Quote-to-Cash systems and processes — then go beyond documentation to prototype and build the enhancement yourself using AI-assisted tools.
- Lead requirements discovery with SMEs and stakeholders, and translate findings directly into working artifacts (automations, agents, test scripts, dashboards) rather than static specs alone.
- Map as-is/to-be processes and data flows (Lucidchart or equivalent), replacing manual process diagrams with automated, reusable tooling where possible.
- Build and maintain lightweight automations, workflow tools, and AI agents that solve recurring operational problems.
- Support data migration: mapping, validation, and reconciliation, increasingly via scripted/AI-assisted validation rather than manual checks.
- Use data analysis and BI skills to identify patterns, track KPIs, and build reusable reporting and monitoring.
- Own end-to-end delivery for smaller, well-scoped requests within a fast, iterative cadence — triage, build, validate, and ship.
- Lead and participate in UAT cycles, using automated/AI-driven testing approaches where possible rather than relying solely on manual testing.
- Maintain clear documentation of business rules, configurations, and the automations/agents you build.
- Partner with enablement teams on training and change management for new tools and workflows being rolled out.
- Stay current on emerging AI/automation tooling and actively pilot new approaches for the team.
- 3+ years experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar delivery capacity, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise environment — with demonstrated comfort moving from requirements into hands-on building.
- Background in Quote-to-Cash, CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management, or Order Management systems.
- Direct experience using AI-assisted development/automation tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to build working solutions, scripts, or agents — not just conceptual familiarity.
- Familiarity with Lucidchart, Smartsheets, or similar tools for process/project documentation.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving delivery environment.
- Excellent communication skills — able to work with both business and technical stakeholders and explain what an AI-built solution does and why.
- Curious, proactive, builder mindset — someone who prefers shipping a working prototype over writing a longer spec.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, validation, or system integration projects.
- Proven aptitude for data analysis/reporting — SQL/SOQL, and Tableau/PowerBI or similar BI tools.
- Experience with Salesforce administration, automation platforms (flows, AI agents, process builders), or workflow/bot building tools.
- Experience building or maintaining automated UAT/testing frameworks.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation, data-heavy, or M&A integration initiatives.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction or Business Operations teams.
