Platform Architect
WSA – Wonderful Sound for All
We are looking for a Platform Architect to define and drive our cloud-native platform strategy. You will be responsible for designing scalable Kubernetes-based platforms, establishing architecture standards, and enabling engineering teams with modern platform capabilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape the future of our infrastructure while improving developer experience, reliability, and platform adoption
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end application onboarding and cloud migration across Azure and GCP, covering requirement gathering, application assessment, NFRs, architecture definition, migration strategy (rehost, replatform, refactor, modernization), implementation, deployment, and transition to operations.
- Design and govern scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures across Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes, covering compute, networking, storage, databases, identity, security, observability, and platform services, while ensuring alignment with architecture and governance standards.
- Act as the primary technical architecture and stakeholder point of contact for onboarded applications, collaborating with application owners, business stakeholders, engineering, security, infrastructure, SRE, operations, and cloud providers to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful adoption.
- Own the Business Enablement technical backlog and contribute to the cloud/platform roadmap, including requirements clarification, prioritization, solution definition, dependency management, technical planning, identifying technology gaps and modernization opportunities, and coordinating delivery with engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring on Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, cloud migration, application modernization, and platform engineering best practices, while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and adoption of scalable platform capabilities.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, GitOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering best practices.
- Exposure to AI/ML platform architectures, including deploying and managing AI workloads on Kubernetes, with an understanding of MLOps practices and AI observability.
- Knowledge of scalable AI infrastructure on cloud platforms and emerging AI infrastructure patterns integrated with cloud-native and platform engineering practices.
- Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence engineering decisions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
