State Head - Vehicle finance

- Lead and manage the overall Vehicle Finance business across the assigned state.
- Drive business growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for new and used vehicle loans.
- Develop and implement state-level business strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, dealerships, DSAs, channel partners, and key corporate clients.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage Regional Managers, Area Managers, Branch Managers, and Sales teams.
- Monitor team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and performance management initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand the dealer network, and strengthen channel partnerships.
- Ensure high-quality loan sourcing while maintaining portfolio quality and minimizing delinquency.
- Collaborate with Credit, Operations, Risk, and Collections teams to ensure smooth loan processing and timely disbursement.
- Monitor key business metrics such as disbursements, market penetration, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit guidelines.
- Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
- Manage state-level budgets, business planning, and forecasting.
- Resolve escalated customer, dealer, and partner issues to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Present periodic business performance reports, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling of financial products wherever applicable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in Vehicle Finance, Dealer Management, and Channel Sales.
- Excellent business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Sound knowledge of credit policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and performance management.
- Experience: 10–15+ years in Vehicle Finance, with at least 4–6 years in a senior leadership or state-level role.
- Industry: Banks, NBFCs, or Vehicle Finance Companies.
- Qualification: Graduate; MBA or PGDM preferred.
