Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute penetration tests across web applications, networks, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Use Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap to discover, validate, and exploit security weaknesses.
- Perform vulnerability verification, determine business impact, and distinguish exploitable findings from false positives.
- Prepare detailed technical reports with evidence, risk ratings, remediation guidance, and executive-level summaries.
- Present assessment results to engineering and security teams and support retesting of remediated vulnerabilities.
Skills Required:
- 5-7 years of relevant penetration testing or offensive security experience.
- Hands-on experience with Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap in professional penetration testing engagements.
- Strong understanding of web application, network, infrastructure, and API security assessment techniques.
- Ability to perform manual testing, exploit validation, vulnerability analysis, and risk-based prioritization.
- Experience producing penetration testing reports and communicating technical findings to varied audiences.
Good to Have:
- Experience with OWASP ZAP, Wireshark, Kali Linux, Python, or Bash.
Education: B.Tech or M.Tech only.
