Presales Engineer
SurveySparrow
Experience: 1–3 years
Shift: US Shift 6PM - 3AM
About the Role
We’re looking for a Solution Engineer who enjoys understanding customer problems, designing solutions, and bringing them to life through compelling demos.
You’ll partner with Sales and work with prospects in the US market, supporting opportunities around modern AI powered Customer Support and CRM solutions.
We’re looking for someone who is technically curious, customer facing, and comfortable figuring things out rather than waiting for everything to be handed to them.
What You’ll Do
• Participate in discovery calls and understand customer requirements, workflows, challenges, and technology stacks.
• Deliver tailored, use case driven product demonstrations.
• Translate business requirements into solutions using product capabilities, APIs, integrations, webhooks, and automation.
• Support technical evaluations, POCs, RFPs, security discussions, and integration conversations.
• Build lightweight prototypes or custom solutions when required to demonstrate feasibility.
• Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer teams throughout the sales cycle.
• Explore creative approaches when requirements cannot be solved entirely out of the box.
What We’re Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Presales, Technical Consulting, or a similar role.
• Experience working with B2B SaaS products.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer facing skills.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, integrations, authentication, and data flows.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to independently explore and evaluate solutions.
• Ability to learn new products and technologies quickly.
• Comfortable working in a US shift and engaging directly with US customers.
Good to Have
• Experience with CRM, Customer Support, Helpdesk, CX, Sales Automation, or AI powered SaaS products.
• Exposure integrating platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira or similar products.
• Experience with POCs, RFPs, integrations, or custom solutioning.
• Familiarity with AI agents, conversational AI, workflow automation, or LLM based applications.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who thinks beyond what’s given, asks the right questions, and enjoys figuring out how to make things work.
