Position Title: Dpty Manager / Manager- Application Engineering-Mechacial

Location: Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables (Listed in decreasing order of importance)

  • Responsible for customisation of Medium voltage switchgear panels as per project requirements..
  • Responsible for preparation of mechanical BOM, Panel model creation in SolidWorks, Door mounted equipment layouts release, maintaining complete mechanical material BOM in SAP, change management during manufacturing.
  • Drive initiatives for design standardization, cost optimization, and process improvement to enhance engineering efficiency.
  • Should handle cross functional team queries, customer feedback & post approval changes independently.
  • Must be able to take ownership of tasks and work independently.

Key Competencies

Functional Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of MV AIS switchgear components (Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Earthing Switches, CT/PT) and their applications. Should be able to solve client's technical queries.
  • Basic knowledge of SolidWorks, MS Office & Auto-CAD.
  • Familiarity with SAP for material configuration and BOM release.
  • Should have knowledge in customisation and standardisation of MV panels.

Behavioural Competencies

  • Goal oriented. Should adhere to the commitments.
  • Analytical, assertive, and collaborative team player.
  • Disciplined, punctual, and willing to travel for customer approvals and site visits.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) for customer interactions and documentation.

Candidate Specification

  • Educational Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical
  • Experience Range: 2–5 Years (MV AIS design experience preferred)
  • Critical Skills Required: Switchgear Application Knowledge, IEC Standards, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP
  • Target Companies: ABB, Siemens, C&S, GE.
