About The Company

A fast-growing Indian clean-energy company specialising in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), power electronics, green hydrogen, e-mobility and microgrid solutions.

Position Overview

  • Lead the Company Secretarial, Legal and Compliance function, ensuring robust corporate governance, statutory compliance and effective Board processes.
  • Provide practical legal support on contracts, banking documentation, export/import matters and regulatory requirements while supporting IPO readiness and the Company’s growth agenda.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and business teams, taking ownership of legal, governance and compliance matters and supporting the organisation as it scales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage MCA and Companies Act compliances, statutory filings, registers and corporate records.
  • Manage Board, Committee and General Meetings, including notices, agendas, resolutions and minutes.
  • Ensure strong corporate governance and timely regulatory and statutory compliance.
  • Draft, review and vet commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documentation.
  • Vet banking documents including BGs, LCs, indemnities, facility agreements and related contracts.
  • Support IPO readiness, due diligence and listing-related compliance and governance requirements.
  • Manage legal and compliance requirements related to export/import activities, government schemes, incentives and licences.
  • Provide legal and corporate support to the CFO and business teams, coordinate with external counsel and take on broader responsibilities as the Company scales.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Company Secretary (CS) with LLB/LLM preferred.
  • 8–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Company Secretarial and Legal functions.
  • Strong experience in Companies Act/MCA compliances, Board processes and secretarial records.
  • Good exposure to legal documentation, contract drafting/review and contract vetting.
  • Experience in IPO/listing, exports/imports and sectors such as energy, engineering, manufacturing or infrastructure preferred.
