Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

Perform the physical acceptance of cargo, including Ready for Carriage (R4C) and security checks
Ensure proper storage and handling of cargo
Support Unit Load Device (ULD) build-up and supporting external staff during cargo handling activities
Weigh ULDs and trolleys accurately
Complete and sign ULD tags as required
Perform the physical breakdown of ULDs
Report irregularities, including missing or damaged cargo and identify non-declared Dangerous Goods (DGR)
Hand over freight to customers in accordance with established procedures
Perform all activities in accordance with documented Cargo Handling Manual (CHM) and Ground Operations Manual (GOM) procedures
Observe and apply the security requirements of the company and local authorities

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent qualification in accordance with applicable Cargo Handling Manual (CHM) and Ground Operations Manual (GOM) requirements is desirable
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a relevant operational role
Must willing to work shifts
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as well as the Marathi language
Good computer literacy and proficiency in standard office applications
Strong analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking
High degree of reliability, teamwork, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Must possess a valid driver's licence
