IT Support Specialist
BOT Consulting
About BOT Consulting
BOT Consulting is a venture studio for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). We partner directly with founders and global tech leaders to co-create their engineering capability, instead of acting like a traditional outsourcing agency or third-party vendor. We help global technology firms design, scale, and ultimately own their high-performance Centers of Excellence in India.
About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to manage day-to-day IT operations, workplace infrastructure, end-user support, and information security compliance. This role requires a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot technical issues, maintain reliable office IT systems, manage hardware assets, and coordinate with global IT and Information Security teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, an ownership-driven approach, and an understanding of IT security standards, particularly ISO 27001, to ensure a secure, efficient, and seamless workplace technology experience.
1. User Onboarding, Offboarding & Security Compliance
-
Manage standard user onboarding and offboarding procedures in strict accordance with ISO 27001 guidelines, ensuring proper access provisioning, de-provisioning, and prompt asset retrieval.
-
Partner with the global GCC IT team to coordinate, provision, configure, and deploy laptops and digital tools for GCC team members.
-
Collaborate with the Information Security (IS) team to monitor, enforce, and audit workplace security compliance.
-
Maintain office CCTV compliance, ensuring continuous recording, proper camera coverage, physical security, and access control audit logs.
-
Manage internal IT helpdesk ticketing queues, delivering timely resolutions while adhering to strict SLA targets.
-
Oversee and maintain the office attendance system (biometric/access badge hardware and software integration).
-
Provide technical support across Windows, macOS, hardware peripherals, software applications, and network connectivity issues.
-
Track and manage the local hardware inventory, keeping accurate asset management records for all computers, accessories, and peripherals.
-
Source quotations from external vendors for laptops, IT accessories, and consumables to ensure cost-effective procurement.
-
Raise purchase requests (PRs) for hardware/software acquisitions and follow up through the procurement lifecycle.
-
Set up, monitor, and maintain the office Wi-Fi and wired network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and access points).
-
Maintain and troubleshoot conference room IT infrastructure (AV equipment, video conferencing units, displays, and wireless presentation setups).
