Job Description: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days a Week)

Experience: 3+ Years

CTC: Up to ₹16 LPA (Depends upon experience range)

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Serving Notice Period (Immediate to 30 Days)

Education: B.Tech, B.E., MCA, M.Sc., B.Sc., or BCA in Computer Science/IT with relevant industry experience, or an equivalent qualification.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level DevOps initiatives and contribute to DevOps strategy, architecture, and automation roadmaps.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud deployments.
  • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, and Kubernetes environments.
  • Handle Kubernetes/EKS cluster management, deployments, scaling, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Work with Kubernetes components such as Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Helm.
  • Drive cloud migration, infrastructure automation, performance monitoring, and system reliability.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines, quality standards, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive technical initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, Kinesis, ElastiCache, Route 53, and IAM.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including cluster management, deployments, scaling, troubleshooting, networking, and production support.
  • Good understanding of Docker and containerization.
  • Experience with Helm and Kubernetes components such as Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or equivalent.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with APM and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Kafka/Kinesis and streaming or event-driven services.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
  • Cloud assessment and migration expertise.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production environments.
  • Strategic planning and a business agility mindset.
