About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist – Software Engineering with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) DevOps, Cloud IAM, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role focuses on cloud identity governance, access risk remediation, and secure infrastructure management using tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
Job Description
The position involves managing and remediating Google Cloud IAM configurations, reviewing access permissions, and ensuring adherence to least-privilege principles and organizational security policies.
The candidate will analyze audit logs, access patterns, role recommendations, and policy impacts before implementing IAM changes. The role also requires clear technical documentation, remediation reporting, and automation of repeatable IAM processes using scripting and DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and remediate Google Cloud IAM configurations, including resource hierarchy, service accounts, custom roles, conditional access, and organization policies.
- Apply least-privilege principles, access governance, and privileged access management practices.
- Analyze audit logs, access usage, permission assignments, role recommendations, and policy impacts before implementing changes.
- Identify and remediate cloud identity risks and access-related security issues.
- Develop and maintain remediation documentation, change records, exception reports, and executive-level status updates.
- Automate IAM remediation processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Support DevOps and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
