Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will be part of a multi-level organization that includes manual testers and a test automation community.
- You will be responsible for manual testing activities in your assigned area, including test preparation, execution, documentation, and defect follow-up.
- You will actively collaborate with the test automation community, build and adopt automation principles, and learn by doing through practical involvement in automation-related activities.
- You will facilitate and coordinate testing workflows with teams working within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- You will understand the applications, their priorities, and how to support them from a testing perspective.
- You will contribute to testing best practices and help improve quality across the team.
- You will drive continuous process improvement in testing activities.
- Together with your team, you will monitor quality indicators, detect deviations, and trigger improvements.
- You will support teams in following defined best practices, support processes, and testing methodologies.
- You will facilitate knowledge exchange between experts and contribute to community management.
- 4-6 Years of experience in testing and good knowledge on test methodologies and process.
- You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
- You have experience with manual software testing, including test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, and retesting.
- You have good understanding of test automation principles and knowledge on automation frameworks.
- You have experience participating and collaborating in global, diverse teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- You have a general understanding of ServiceNow, web technologies, and data formats such as HTML, CSS, DOM, JSON, XML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with object-oriented programming concepts, code design principles, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is an advantage.
- A strong advantage is practical experience or qualification in working with AI, including using AI tools at work to automate repetitive tasks, improve testing efficiency, generate productivity gains, or support quality improvements.
- You already have experience in international and intercultural cooperation. Therefore, you bring along business-fluent English skills.
- You have a personal affinity for the digital world and modern cloud-based technology.
