Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise applications, REST APIs, and integrations within an existing aerospace engineering environment (Preferred not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Work with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, background jobs, and concurrent processing.
• Build reliable large-file processing workflows for files up to 50GB using streaming, chunking, retries, and recovery mechanisms.
• Integrate authentication, digital signing, validation, storage, and database interfaces.
• Perform unit and integration testing, performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Follow code reviews, CI/CD practices, cybersecurity standards, configuration management, and controlled release processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, test evidence, and requirements-to-test traceability.
• Support existing production applications while ensuring reliability and performance.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java application development.
• REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Large-file processing and asynchronous workflows.
• Concurrency and multithreading.
• Automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Production application maintenance and controlled development/release processes.
