Job Description
We are looking for experienced Data Engineering Consultants with strong Snowflake and Data Warehousing expertise to support our ongoing data platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently drive & lead end-to-end data engineering deliverables with minimal guidance.
- Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines, data integration solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Provide production support, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, problems, and changes
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems
- Work with Product teams to refine and prioritize backlog
- Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Engineering
- 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience preferred. Strong SQL developers with solid data engineering/modelling experience and an interest in learning Snowflake
- Strong expertise in Snowflake features (Streams, Snowpipe, Tasks, Snowpark etc.)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema)
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
- Experience with data pipelines and integration (Knowledge in ADO, GitHub, Liquibase is good)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments
- Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming tools
- Experience with low-latency data platforms
- Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks
- Exposure to Financial Services / Blockchain domain
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive mindset with ability to learn and take responsibility
