Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented MIS Executive / MIS Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Query to support business reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, transforming, and presenting data through meaningful reports and dashboards that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to continuously learn and implement automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, deliver actionable insights, and drive continuous process improvements through data-driven solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and automate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
- Design and build interactive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers using Power BI.
- Extract, clean, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources using Power Query.
- Utilize advanced Excel functionalities including Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, data validation, and reporting models.
- Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to support business operations and management decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
- Automate recurring reports and manual processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Monitor key business metrics and proactively identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data processes.
- Support stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and management presentations.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reliable reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Learn, evaluate, and implement automation technologies such as Power Automate, VBA, Python, RPA, AI tools, and other digital solutions.
- Work closely with business teams to streamline workflows and eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of business data while adhering to organizational policies and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, Analytics, and Automation Technologies.
- Coordinate with multiple business functions and stakeholders to gather, validate, consolidate, and analyze data; prepare executive-level MIS reports, management dashboards, business reviews, and presentations to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
