Job Title: Mainframe Assembler
Position: Lead Analyst
Experience: 7- 9 Years

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance IBM Mainframe Assembler applications.
- Analyze existing Assembler programs and perform code enhancement, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain programs using Assembler, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM as applicable.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support activities.
- Analyze application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Work with technical leads, business analysts, and cross functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support application modernization, migration, and maintenance initiatives where required.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow established coding and quality standards.
Mandatory Skills
- IBM Mainframe Assembler
- Strong experience in Assembler programming, debugging, and maintenance.
- Good understanding of JCL and z/OS.
- Hands on experience with CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of Mainframe application development and SDLC.
- Experience on COBOL.
- Experience with z/OS utilities and Mainframe debugging tools.
- Experience in production support and incident/problem management.
- Exposure to Mainframe modernization or migration projects.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
