Senior Finance Executive

About the role

DoubleTick.io, an award-winning conversational CX stack, is looking for an Senior Finance Executive to own and scale our paid acquisition and demand-generation engine.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong performance marketing expertise with a sharp understanding of B2B SaaS funnels and can translate marketing investments into qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1.Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Handle monthly and year-end closing, bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of MIS reports.
• Monitor vendor payments, customer collections, outstanding balances, and ageing reports.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and books of accounts.

2.Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Manage GST-related activities, including input tax credit reconciliation and invoicing.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly and annual return filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders during audits and assessments.

3.Financial Controls & Revenue Management

• Reconcile revenue and financial transactions across business channels.
• Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and accounting procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and support improvements in financial processes and internal controls.

4.Banking & Cash Flow Management

• Manage day-to-day banking activities, payment processing, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring, fund planning, and preparation of cash flow reports.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and banking activities.

Requirements

• CA Inter, B.Com, M.Com or an equivalent qualification.
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a startup, SaaS, or product-based company.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and Indian accounting standards.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong ethics and accountability.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work in a dynamic business environment.

Good to have skills

• Experience working in a SaaS, startup, or product-based company.
• Knowledge of Ind-AS and applicable accounting standards.
• Familiarity with Zoho accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with finance automation tools and process improvement practices.
