The Senior Software Engineer – Other Technologies is responsible for leading development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and support of software solutions across assigned technology platforms. This role owns complex application modules, performs impact analysis, supports technical design, resolves advanced defects, guides junior developers, and ensures solutions follow security, scalability, quality, and delivery best practices. The position works closely with technical leads, solution architects, QA teams, business analysts, project managers, internal stakeholders, and clients to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions aligned with business and customer requirements.

Role
- Lead development, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of applications across assigned technology platforms.
- Own complex application modules, integrations, workflows, enhancements, and platform-specific development tasks.
- Review business requirements and translate them into technical designs, development tasks, configuration activities, and implementation plans.
- Perform detailed impact analysis at application, database, configuration, integration, and security levels before implementing changes.
- Design and build scalable application features, custom modules, workflows, APIs, integrations, and reusable components.
- Support integration activities using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware, web services, third-party platforms, and enterprise system interfaces.
- Write clean, reusable, secure, maintainable, and efficient code or configuration following coding standards and platform best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, performance problems, production defects, deployment failures, integration errors, and user-reported incidents.
- Perform unit testing, application testing, defect resolution, release validation, and production support activities.
- Conduct code reviews, configuration reviews, technical walkthroughs, and quality improvement discussions.
- Work with databases, schemas, tables, queries, data migration, data validation, and application data relationships as required.
- Support custom application development, platform enhancements, scoped applications, automation, and enterprise application implementations.
- Collaborate with technical leads, developers, QA engineers, business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow SDLC, Agile, Scrum, version control, CI/CD, and project delivery practices during development and support activities.
- Mentor junior developers, review technical work, share platform knowledge, and assist in issue resolution.
- Identify technical risks, quality gaps, performance issues, and improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with coding standards, platform guidelines, and customer expectations.
- Requires 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, application development, platform configuration, integration, or technology support.
