As a Secondary Design Engineer at Hitachi, Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the development and refinement of electrical systems, focusing on the secondary circuit design for power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secondary electrical circuits for various power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and industrial facilities.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials using CAD software.
- Perform calculations and simulations for protection coordination, relay settings, and control logic.
- Collaborate with primary design engineers and project managers to integrate secondary systems with overall project requirements.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as IEC, ANSI, and IEEE.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in secondary circuit design for power systems
- Strong understanding of protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration
- Proficiency in CAD software such as E3, EPLAN, and AutoCAD Electrical
- Familiarity with relevant international and national electrical standards and codes
