Candidate Profile
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering SME with 8+ years of experience in Control Panel design responsible of reviewing, validating, and optimizing SPM electrical designs, control panel architecture, and electrical assemblies. The role requires expertise in EN 60204-1, IEC 61439, IEC 60947, industrial automation, and machinery electrical safety.
The Ideal candidate has 8+ years of hands-on SPM electrical design experience, strong knowledge if international electrical standards, and expertise in control panel design and technical reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert in EN 60204-1 / IEC 60204-1 with strong knowledge of machine electrical safety and related standards.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SPM electrical design, control-panel architecture, SPM Electrical Assembly and industrial automation.
- Expertise in power/control schematics, PLC I/O, VFD/servo, motors, sensors, safety circuits, 24VDC, protection and earthing.
- Strong capability in electrical schematic review, BOM, panel layout, cable/terminal design, EMC and troubleshooting.
- Able to independently validate and optimize complete machine electrical designs for safety, compliance, reliability and maintainability.
- Accurate and technically validated electrical schematics and control panel designs.
- Compliance with applicable electrical and machinery safety standards.
- Improved electrical design quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Standardized electrical design guidelines and best practices.
- Faster resolution of technical issues and reduced design work.
- Improved technical capability and knowledge sharing within engineering teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in SPM electrical design, control panel design, electrical assembly and industrial automation.
