Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Mumbai. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure to support high-performance trading platforms. The role involves building and managing CI pipelines, monitoring system health, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability of production environments. Daily responsibilities include working with Infrastructure as Code tools, managing Linux-based systems, collaborating with software development teams to streamline releases, and troubleshooting deployment and operational issues. The DevOps Engineer will contribute to automation initiatives, enforce security and compliance best practices, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis to continuously improve reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong System Administration and Linux skills for managing production-grade environments.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills to automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills to design, implement, and maintain build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills to create tools, scripts, and integrations that enhance reliability and automation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar) is beneficial.
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and high-availability architectures is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
