Aluminium Door and Window Estimator

Job Description

ERA Doors and Windows is looking for a motivated, organised and detail-oriented Cost Estimator & Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, managing customer orders, invoicing, social media activities and handling day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cost Estimation & Quotations

* Prepare accurate quotations for aluminium windows, doors and glazing projects.

* Review building plans, window schedules and project specifications.

* Calculate material, glass and labour costs using V6 Software

* Follow up with customers regarding quotations and approvals.

2. Order Management

* Process and maintain customer orders.

* Coordinate with suppliers and production teams.

* Track material orders, manufacturing progress and delivery schedules.

* Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

3. Invoicing & Accounts Administration

* Prepare invoices and payment reminders.

* Maintain customer payment records.

* Follow up on outstanding payments.

* Assist with general accounts administration.

4. Social Media & Marketing

* Create and publish social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.

* Assist with promotional content and marketing activities.

* Update company project photos and product information.

5. General Administration

* Handle emails, phone calls and customer enquiries.

* Maintain filing systems and company records.

* Prepare reports, spreadsheets and other documents.

* Assist management with daily office operations.

* Perform other administrative duties as required.

Skills & Requirements

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.

* Basic understanding of invoicing and accounting.

* Experience with Canva and social media management is an advantage.

* Previous experience in cost estimation, construction or aluminium windows and doors is highly regarded.

* Willingness to learn and work independently.
