Vanivilasa Collection is a growing collection of design-led boutique hospitality properties in Mysore, comprising Villa Vani and Jeeva Nilaya.

Our properties combine thoughtful design, warm hospitality and a personal approach to guest experiences. We are a small, hands-on team committed to creating beautiful spaces where guests feel genuinely welcome and cared for.

The Role

As Guest Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of one of our properties, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience and everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a varied, hands-on role with plenty of responsibility, autonomy and opportunities to learn.

Responsibilities include:

Welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and creating warm, memorable guest experiences.
Responding to guest enquiries, requests and feedback with professionalism and care.
Coordinating housekeeping, maintenance and other daily operations.
Ensuring our properties are beautifully maintained and presented.
Managing supplies, inventory, purchases and routine expenses.
Supporting reservations, guest communications and administration.
Taking initiative, solving problems and finding ways to improve how we do things.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a natural warmth and a genuine sense of ownership. Someone who enjoys working with people, notices the little details and takes pride in doing things well.

Essential requirements:

Fluent in spoken English and Kannada.
Currently based in Mysore or willing to relocate.
Willing to stay overnight onsite when guests are in residence (accommodation is provided).
Comfortable with flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Confident using WhatsApp, email and basic digital tools.
Organised, reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently.

Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations or property management is desirable, but we're equally interested in candidates with transferable skills, a great attitude and a willingness to learn.
