The Senior Delphi Developer is a key role within Engineering Team 2K90, responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of applications driven by this object-oriented, visual programming environment. This role plays an instrumental role in defining, improving, and implementing the internal processes, development methodologies, and programming standards related to the system’s entire lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and building high-quality, reusable, and reliable Delphi code.
Identifying bottlenecks and bugs in the code base and devising optimal solutions.
Leading the development of complex software systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and stability.
Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and secure coding practices.
Providing technical guidance and coaching to the development team, promoting an open and communicative working environment.
Taking ownership of system testing and validation procedures, ensuring all system outputs are entirety, accurate, and meet the defined business needs.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends and upcoming technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Delphi application development.
Detailed understanding of Delphi programming principles and best practices.
Proficiency in using and building APIs for web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of SQL databases and their interfacing with Delphi applications.
Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
