Job Summary: Preparation of detailed “Release to Manufacturing” drawings for Power & Control Panels, using AutoCAD Electrical, like:

General Arrangement with internal mounting plates & cutout details.
Power wiring drawings, as required for various industrial motor starters.
Schematics showing the PLC, Input Card, Output Card, HMI, Ethernet Switches, Receptacles.
Control wiring showing the control transformer and 24V power supply units
Schematics for wiring of field mounted instruments and the meters envisaged in the panels
Terminal Block arrangement with legends

Preparation of AutoCAD Electrical Library and Footprint Symbols. Macro / Standard circuit creation.
Good knowledge on PDM tool like Vault for releasing and control the Drawing / BOM release.
Preparation of I/O List and Heat Load Lists
Strong in all types of electrical design for LV System and develop electrical cost benefit analysis for the design and provide optimized cost estimates.
Electrical design shall involve taking inputs directly from the P&ID documents.
Work closely with global (US & other location) product development and order execution team for the design of electrical control system for water and waste water treatment products / systems.
Applies knowledge of NEC, UL, NFPA, CSA and CE standards to control system panel designs.
Support in conducting Factory Acceptance Testing for our global factory locations – mainly USA
Review, repair & redesign legacy codes of standard products and systems, per requirements.
Assist local and global teams in preparing electrical equipment specifications for systems / plant and in preparation of operator training, O&M documents for operation and maintenance of controls systems and standard products.
Occasional national and international travels.
