We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.
Job Purpose:
- Handling a wide range of accounting tasks of moderate complexity, as well as performing both simple and challenging tasks related to monthly and annual financial statements at the RtR Tower
- Support administration of Accounting and General Ledger (GL) day to day activities to prepare accounting information, statutory returns for regulatory authorities and financial statements in line with GL plans and policies, accounting principles, regulations and compliance requirements
- Independently performing a wide range of complex accounting tasks (e.g., processing bank statements, performing bank reconciliations, maintaining clearing accounts, posting HR and travel expenses, making journal entries, performing bulk reversal entries, posting fixed asset transactions, and recording accruals)
- Monitoring individual accounts from the subsidiary ledgers, coordinating with relevant contacts in other departments (accounts receivable, accounts payable) or teams (e.g., fixed assets) as needed
- Handling simple and complex inquiries from business partners
- Strong understanding of complex accounting processes and interfaces
- Collaboration on technical, digitization, and automation projects
- Implementation and documentation of quality assurance measures within the framework of the Group’s internal control system
- Supporting and covering for colleagues (taking on accounting tasks of moderate complexity)
Education Level
Bachelor Degree in Finance Accounting Vocational training (preferably in business or business administration)
Experience Level
3-5 years of relevant experience more than 2 years
